Remove the Point Tracking Card and the 3 Quick Rule cards from the deck and then shuffle the deck and deal every player 3 Cards.
Place the Point Tracking Card face up in the middle of the play area and set all player markers on the start space of it.
Place the Food Board (Bottom of the box) in middle of the play area and place a Food (Brown cylinder piece) on the start space.
Place all of the rest of the Food and the Coins in the middle of the play area as well.
Everyone rolls the die and the highest roller goes first
Give out bonus resources to each player depending on turn order:
|
Turn Order |
Bonus Resources |
|---|---|
Player 1 | None |
Player 2 | 1 Card |
Player 3 | 1 Coin |
Player 4 | 1 Food |
Player 5 | 1 Card and 1 Coin |
Here is how it should look:
On every turn, you will follow these steps. These steps must be done in order, but each step is optional.
If you reach the winning Space on the point tracking card, you have Fully Fed 'Yer Mama and you win the game!
The Winning Space depends on the number of players playing.
|
Players |
Number of Times to Feed 'Yer Mama |
|---|---|
2 Players | 6 Times |
3 Players | 5 Times |
4 Players | 4 Times |
5 Players | 3 Times (On some rule cards, it says you need 4, but 3 times is recommended) |
If you ever get to gain Coins and there are no Coins left, you may steal Coins from other players. For example, if you need to Gain 4 Coins and there are only two left in the middle, you take the two in the middle and could take 1 Coin from 2 Players or 2 Coins from 1 Player
If you ever get to gain Food and there are no Food left, steal Food from other players like you do with the Coins. See Pig for Exception
If you ever get to draw cards and there are none left, do nothing.
If the cards run out, reshuffle all the cards that have been discarded for any reason.
Abilities in italics are not part of each turn’s action, but something that is always true of the card.
Gain: Take resources from the bank of resources in the middle of the play area; if there are none left, take them from other players.
Pay: Put your resources into the bank of resources in the middle of the play area.
Copy an Ability: Do whatever the ability of the card you are copying says word for word, except for the portion in italics.
Draw: Take a random card from the pile of cards in the middle of the play area.
In Play: Cards that have been bought and are currently in front of a player.
Steal: Take resources from another player for yourself.
Discard: Place a card from your hand face-up in a pile next to the draw pile. These cards will be shuffled when the deck runs out.
Kill: Same as discard, but this is referring to an Animal that is In Play. Place face-up in the discard pile. These cards will be shuffled when the deck runs out.
Destroy: Same as kill, but this is referring to a Plant that is In Play. Place face-up in the discard pile. These cards will be shuffled when the deck runs out.
Animal: Cards that are animals, depicted with a brown background and have a Food/Burger Icon in the top right.
Plant: Cards that are plants, depicted with a green background.
Corn: You cannot copy another player's animal. Only copy the part of the ability that is not italicized. You can either Gain 1 Coin or Pay 2 Coins to Copy, not both.
Dog: The Wolf can kill the Dog. Once the Dog is dead, your other animals can also be killed. You can kill your own pig even if you have a dog. If you have 2 Dogs, none of your animals can be killed, including the dogs.
Goat: You decide which plant to destroy AFTER rolling the die. The number facing on the die must match the Coin cost of the Plant. For example, a 5 can only destroy a Tomato
Fox: You cannot copy one of your own animals. Only copy the part of the ability that is not italicized, for example if you copy the Dog, ignore the italics about your other animals. You can copy another fox, but if you do you must do exactly what the new ability says and pay another coin for this fox, but it does allow you to then copy one of your own animals, something a fox cannot normally do.
Pig: Gain 1 Food and place it on the Pig card. Food here cannot be spent. It also cannot be stolen from the raccoon or from other players when the food runs out*. You can kill your own pig even if you have a dog. When the pig is killed, count the number of Food on the pig and multiply it by 3, Gain that much food.
*It can be stolen if that is the only way a player can gain food, meaning no one else has food
Wolf: You decide which animal to destroy after rolling the die. When deciding if you can kill an animal, ignore the food cost and only compare the dice roll with the Coin cost. If the coin cost is lower than your roll, kill the animal. You cannot kill the cat
Chicken: Count the number of Chickens currently in play, including this one. Gain that many Food. If you have multiple chickens, they both count towards this number.
